West Virginia Christmas Trip

We love to go to WV to visit family. It is usually a marathon trip, trying to visit as many people as possible in just a short amount of time. This year we had another day to add to the trip which was really nice.

Still...it always seems like we can't visit as long with people as we would like to, but at least we are blessed to be able to go.

Here is Nanny with the kids:

She always spoils them...okay, everybody spoils them, and we love it. They get things that they do not normally get at home, get to do things they don't normally do...it's as it should be. (Like being able to walk around with an ice cream cone, in the house, with no help...)

Mamaw, Grandaddy and the kids:



This is Nanny's sister, Viola Burns. She is one of the sweetest, giving people that you could ever meet.





You know those things she gets to do that she doesn't at home? Yup...eat a sucker...by herself...in the house...I kept trying to tell Nanny that she didn't have to let Kaylee eat it by herself...that it could be taken away...that we could eat it in the kitchen (at least...or maybe outside with the dogs...)but no, "she's okay...let her have it...she's having fun...

Yeah, this is why we need great-grandparents to spoil us! Because mommy and daddy would never let this happen!
